Mac Miller has been all over New York City promoting Watching Movies With The Sound Off before it releases June 18. This led the young MC to The Breakfast Club once again to discuss the LP, some of the album’s collaborations, why he doesn’t feel like he’s in competition with Kanye West and J. Cole, and more.

It’s less about a competition. I think that the thing is, it’s like a big day in Hip-Hop and music,” Miller said. Aside from himself, Cole and West, Statik Selektah and Quasimoto also drop project’s that day. The “Watching Movies” rapper actually believes that country crooner Hunter Hayes will debut at number one that week.
