Atlanta’s very own Goodie Mob are embarking on a nationwide tour. The concert will help promote their forthcoming new project, Age Against The Machine, their first proper album since 1999’s World Party.
The month long tour kicks off on August 24th in Washington, DC and will hit cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami before wrapping up in their ATL hometown on September 14.
The Dungeon Family members are excited to be back together. “For this tour we’re doing what we used to back in the old Goodie Mob days,” said T-Mo in a press statement. “It’s all four of us hitting at the same time. We say our little prayer together, touch hands, get up on that stage, and transform in to ‘that’ Goodie Mob.”
The current single off the new album is “Special Education,” featuring Janelle Monae, and delivers the classic Goodie Mob sound fans have been waiting for. Age Against The Machine is in stores August 27.
