When in need of a hit, call on Future. That tactic that holds weight in 2013; the latest to do so is veteran songstress Ashanti, who returns with a single featuring the ATLien called “I Got It.”
DJ Ty-Boogie of New York City’s Power 105 premiered the record today. Future Vandross alternates between crooning and rapping, while the former Murder Inc. singer lays some sultry vocals on the track.
“I Got It” is set to appear on Ashanti’s forthcoming album BraveHeart, which received an August 20 release date after a few delays. The “Same Damn Time” rapper is also prepping his highly anticipated Future Hendrix project, set to drop some time in November.
