Snoop Lion may be practicing peace due to his new-found Rasta lifestyle, but he still has the ability to kick the street savvy player proverbs that made him a legend. This is proven on a new release called “Passenger Seat.”

A hypnotizing melody hosts the veteran wordsmith, who goes by Snoop Dogg on the track.

If anything, the Long Beach native flexes his ability to say a lot without saying anything at all on this release. Simple rhymes like “Never tell to be told/ Never sell to be sold/On the level with a rapper, boy I stay in control,” come off prophetic due to Snoop’s style and cadence.

We guess the game really is to be sold, not told.

“Passenger Seat” will appear on a collaborative mixtape from Cardo and the LA Leakers called Mental $tates. Expect that to release in the near future, but until then, check out this new tune by Snoop below.
