In 2009 Sports Illustrated wrote a bombshell article exposing the fact Alex tested positive for anabolic steroids in 2003 during his tenure as a Texas Ranger. A few days later on ESPN, Rodriguez admitted that he used performance enhancing drugs from 2001 to 2003.
