We’d bet that World’s Fair has a thing or two to say to folks claiming that New York Hip-Hop is dead. Unlike many of their peers, the collective’s way of communicating is on wax rather than the Internets. Yesterday, they provided a full listening experience via a new mixtape called Bastards of The Party.
The project holds 13-tracks in total and features MCs Remy Banks, Prince SAMO, Cody B. Ware, Lansky Jones, and Jeff Donna.
Old fans will hear World’s Fair’s progression, and new listeners will quickly gather that the NYC natives’ appeal lies in their ability to repackage the energy of classic rap cliques while keeping it very much contemporary at the same time.
