Rapsody delivered yet another quality body of work with She Got Game, which featured a track featuring Chance The Rapper called “Lonely Thoughts.” Today, Life+Times premieres an updated version that’s even more lyrical due to an additional verse from Big K.R.I.T.
Now a trio of introspective verses echo over soothing production by Denaun “Mr. Porter” Porter. The King Remembered In Time proves his worth as a verbal philanthropist yet again on this cut with bars full of wisdom.
“Well I can’t trust neither, friend or foe/Because as sure as the rising sun, they’ll cut you like ninja swords/Beware of the drunken masters that tattle bout business woes,” raps Krizzle.
“Lonely Thoughts” with Big K.R.I.T. will appear on a for-sale release of Rapsody’s She Got Game. That hits iTunes September 17. Until then, stream the song below.
