Rapsody proves yet again that her lyrical prowess should not be questioned via a new track, titled “Mass Hysteria.”

The MC’ connected with her Jamla co-d, 9th Wonder, who produced the jazzy cut. The familiar horns and bass line from Erykah Badu’s “Other Side Of the Game” echo, as crisp, boom-bap drums provide that knock.

With that, Rapsody kicks verses good enough to cement her place among rap’s elite in a perfect world. “The letters I read them, the I’s and the T’s/ Lines is spotted and crossed, ain’t no fear in my genes/ No mas to Kareem, when everything I throw up cha-ching/ Bank that, blank check; see through the golds get your rings,” she raps.

If more raw lyricism like this is what you seek, we suggest that you check out Rapsody’s She Got Game mixtape. Hear “Mass Hysteria” below.
