Of the major label releases, Rick Ross is set to drop the last highly anticipated LP of the year in Mastermind. The Miami rapper recently recently showed face during DJ Khaled’s appearance on Hot 97’s morning show, and made a huge revelation in the process.
The Bawse’s statements were delayed by a lengthy discrepancy between Khaled and co-host Cipha Sounds. Things eventually got on track, and Ross had an opportunity to discuss his project thematically. “I just feel like it represents what I brought to the game as far as my position and the role I play, the moves I made,” the MMG frontman said on titling his sixth studio album.
But then came the big news: “I got the concert coming, the album December 17. I’m releasing a new record — myself and Jay Z — top of next month.”
