It’s all about the women on a new track by recent RCA Records signee Dee-1 called “I’ll Pay For It.” No, this isn’t another one of those, “it ain’t tricking if you got it,” anthems, but rather a record meant to uplift the queens out there.

The middle school teacher-turned-rapper instead paints a vivid picture in a story that begins with him attending a strip club with some friend. But rather than engage in the tomfoolery associated with said venue, we offers to pay dancers a competitive wage to shut all the gentleman’s clubs.

A beat by a legend and fellow New Orleans native, Mannie Fresh, provides the aesthetic feel on this tune. Laying typical rhymes about trapping and flossing on the bounce-heavy song would have been the easy way out. But that simply isn’t the Dee’s style.

“I’ll Pay For It” will appear on Dee-1’s forthcoming mixtape, Psalms of David II. Hear the cut below.
