A lot more New York City based MCs are gaining traction these days. Coke Boys member Chinx Drugz happens to be one of them, and his city, media folks, and more showed support last night at a listening event he had at China King Studios.
A packed house received an early preview of the New Yorker’s highly anticipated I’ll Take It From Here EP. The event was a co-juncture between Hennessy V.S. and Universal Music. Chinx was joined a bevy of his Coke Boys affiliates, MMG’s Wale, and Queens rapper 360.
Overall, the crowd seemed to be very receptive to the Bronx native’s new material.
I’ll Take It From Here features the leading single “Feelings,” featuring French Montana. Expect the EP to release sooner than later. See a photo recap in the gallery after the jump.
