Nas proclaimed that he was an addict for sneakers on “N.Y. State of Mind” off his classic Illmatic debut. Now almost 20 years later the Queens legend is set to open his own sneaker store in Las Vegas.

Called the 12A.M. Run, the retail store will have a home at The Caesars Casino Linq district; a high profile open air complex that will host the world’s tallest observation wheel and feature various entertainment, retail and dining outlets.

While Nas has previously hinted at this initiative via Twitter, he recently shared a video teaser laid over the “Made You Look” instrumental via Instagram that gives us a brief tour of the construction site. “My shoe store at The Linq in Vegas is coming soon!! Follow @12amrun! #12amrun” the “Queens Story” rapper shared.

In the last year we have seen Jones show more of an entrepreneurial spirit with a partnership with long loved Cognac brand Hennessy and the launch of his long awaited clothing company HSTRY.

According to the press release 12A.M. Run will be a “premier sneaker boutique offering a wide array of limited edition shoes for men, women and toddlers.” The Linq is set to open to the public in early 2014. Maybe he’ll finally release “Sinatra In The Sands” to commemorate the opening? We can only hope.

You can watch the video teaser and view some photos of Nas and his partners at The Linq on the following pages.
