Young De, now known as Demrick spent most of his 2013 zipping bodybags for proverbial wack rappers as one-third as the Serial Killers with Xzibit and B-Real of Cypress Hill.

Now that the critical acclaim and attention has befallen on him, he’s making a New Year’s resolution to make sure he can receive the same recognition on the solo end.

First thing’s first, he has to get his mind right with the appropriate vices and alongside the Bay Area’s monarch, Mistah F.A.B., they exchange color commentary on the upbeat “Purple.”

With staccato production by Statik Selektah and vibe that meets the needs of hyphy fans and ones that need an ounce of hefty lyricism with their records, Demrick seems to be on to something here.
