Deceased rapper Doe B rubbed elbows with a list of folks during his time in the game, as per T.I.’s heartfelt eulogy at his funeral. One was Young Scooter, who paid tribute to the fallen Alabama native on a track called “Letter 2 The Streets.”

“Rest in peace to Doe B, that sh*t sad to see/ I remember when he used to get the gas from Street/ He was born a country boy, n***a, just like me/ T.I.P. blessed him with a chance, he ain’t survive these streets,” the Freebandz affiliate rhymes. From there, he details the shady nature of the streets, including how those closest to you can sell you up for their personal gain.

“Letter 2 The Streets” follows Scooter’s new Street Lottery 2 mixtape. Be sure to check that out after streaming the aforementioned track below.
