And just like that, we receive a new track from a pair of rising Chicago MCs. Titled “Forever,” it features Alex Wiley rapping with fellow worthy lyricist Mick Jenkins.

First off, this cut is silky smooth. That’s the only way to describe the marriage between the duo’s dexterous rhymes and Sunny Dukes’ hypnotic production. Wiley’s verse rides the beat with a quick paced flow, while Jenkins takes a choppier approach in his delivery. In the end, both deliver.

We’re still familiarizing ourselves with Jenkins, but Wiley has started the new year off strongly with a few releases. First, he released a four song bundle, featuring his take on No Limit’s classic “Make Em Say Uhh!.” Next came a collaborative effort with Kembe X called “Know Normal.”

Check those out after streaming what Alex Wiley and Mick Jenkins cooked up below.
