Most Hip-Hop fans are familiar with Ma$e and his story. These days, he’s favoring rap a lot more lately, which landed him on Detroit’s Hot 107.5 to discuss a bevy of topics, including his upcoming musical endeavors and nearly approaching a popular MC.

Ma$e spoke on generational differences, which ushered in the aforementioned comments on the potential skirmish. “I like J. Cole too, when he’s not taking shots at me,” Ma$e said when asked whose music he liked. “I saw him one day. I was going to hit him, but I figured I was too grown to be knocking light skinned people out. But I really like him as an artist.”

Ma$e continued, “See, that’s a different generation. In our generation, we see you, it’s action. But when I saw him, I was thinking ‘Oh, he’s a kid. He don’t get it.'”

Hear Ma$e speak more about the new generation, as well as what he’s cooking up and his current relationship with Cam’ron in the interview below.
