Jimmy Fallon is just one week into his new gig as the new host of The Tonight’s Show, but he’s already killing it. Last night, the Saturday Night Live star turned on-air personality introduced new viewers to the “History of Rap” with the help of his partner in rhyme, Justin Timberlake.

Backed by house band and legendary Hip-Hop collective, The Roots, the dynamic duo gave a spirited performance of a medley of classic Rap tracks. This included songs by veterans like Run DMC, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, and N.W.A., as well as hits from relatively newcomers, Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
