Hold the phone, have heaven’s gates opened? New York City (us included) will come alive on Thursday, June 19, when elusive comedian Dave Chappelle brings his talents to Radio City Music Hall.
This will be the first time he’s performed in the Big Apple in over 10 years. Chappelle went on a lengthy hiatus, during which he made surprise appearances, after notoriously walking away from a $50 million dollar payday for his hit series Chappelle’s Show. But last year, he returned to the stage consistently as a headliner on Funny or Die’s Oddball Tour last summer.
Most recently, Chappelle did a six-show run in Australia as well. In touring consistently, the masterful jokester should be in great rhythm to rock the crowd with his potent brand of thoughtful comedy.
Fans can purchase tickets April 4 at 10 A.M. EST via Ticket Master. American Express Card Members can buy tickets three days in advance on April 1.
