On Tuesday night (April 8), funny man Jimmy Fallon and award-winning actress Anne Hathaway performed Broadway versions of famous rap songs on the latest episode of The Tonight Show.

Where Hip-Hop is sometimes regarded as something “borrowed,” so to speak, due to artists famously pulling from vintage songs or jacking the instrumentals themselves, Fallon and Hathaway lend example to just how far the culture has come. Now we’ve Hollywood biggies attempting to remix our music (if only for comedy). Albeit, not too shabby.

In fact, the tunes sound so good, you’ll find yourself doing spirit fingers to Hathaway’s standout vocals and classic melodies when she covers songs like Snoop Dogg’s “Gin and Juice.” Even more, you’ll love her spunky performance alongside jazzy Fallon as she sends out a special message to all her Hathahaters, á la Kendrick Lamar.

Find out which rap hits got a Broadway makeover last night in the video below. Let us know what you think of Jimmy Fallon and Anne Hathaway’s collaboration.
