Suge Knight knew he’d have to answer for the slander he flung upon Kendrick Lamar, The Game and mainly Jimmy Iovine’s Interscope Records sooner than later.

And that time has come once again.

The part-time music mogul, full-time troublemaker sprinkled seasoning on a can of worms during a recent appearance on Arsenio where he likened the two aforementioned rap star’s label deals to a Lupita Nyong’o Oscar-winning role.

While The Game publicly acknowledged Suge’s comments and stated there weren’t any complaints with his financial status, Kendrick really isn’t much for open forums. Instead, his vocally polar opposite boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith has broken the silence on the TDE end and he’s demanding Suge show some receipts with all the checks his ass has been cashing.

In his trademarked caps locked Twitter voice, Tiffith went in saying, “TELL SUGE I SAID IF HE KAN SHOW ME 1 CHECK WE PAID 2 INTERSCOPE OFF OF R TOUING..ILL SELL HIM TDE 4 $1, NOBODY GETS SHIT OFF OUR TOURS. #TOP.”

Suge sat down with BET yesterday, April 15 to clarify his comments, kind of. Instead of saying that they were slaves, he simply suggested that they were treated like ones. How’s that for damage control?

The relationship between Iovine and Suge has been a shaky one for nearly two decades now, so a bit of bias may in order on behalf of Death Row’s ashes in the back alley.

Check out Suge’s statement clarification video below and hit the flip for Top Dawg’s full statement.
