Pharrell will be getting some familiar company when he takes over for Cee Lo Green for the upcoming season of NBC’s The Voice. His friend and frequent collaborator Gwen Stefani is slated to fill the void for Christina Aguilera.

Gwen Stefani is near closing on her deal to join NBC’s “The Voice” for the upcoming seventh season, an individual with knowledge of the deal told TheWrap.
Stefani will replace a pregnant Christina Aguilera on the upcoming fall season. Aguilera is set to return for the following spring season.
NBC didn’t immediately respond to our request for comment.
Pharrell and Stefani’s track record included the gold-selling No Doubt single “Hella Good” in 2002 and the first platinum digital record “Hollaback Girl” in 2004.
