We’ve been awaiting a proper release from Ma$e since he announced the title of his next LP, Now We Even. Today the former Bad Boy rapper unveils the first single “Nothing,” featuring Eric Bellinger.
It’s no surprise that Pastor Mason would rather appeal to women in this reintroduction. The song certainly suits the current trends on radio, but we would have liked to see the Harlem rapper defer from the norm and sound more like a veteran than someone following the format. Nevertheless, he crafted a potentially winning formula with producer Nic Nac, who produced Chris Brown’s smash hit “Loyal.”
