Michael Steele has fired one of his staffers after the looming GOP money scandal that broke yesterday. According to Steele, the staffer he fired used $1,946 of GOP money at a racy club featuring women in bondage gear imitating lesbian sex, not him.
An unnamed staffer lost his position as part of the “Young Eagles” GOP group for the February 4 incident.
RNC Lawyer Ken McKay says the group was in L.A. for meeting when a trip to Voyeur West Hollywood was made.
The club often features topless female dancers donned in bondage outfits initiating same-sex acts.
The staffer was reportedly warned that such an expense did not qualify for reimbursement.
No word on whether other staffers will be questioned for their involvement as well.
As previously reported The Daily Caller reported that Steele spent $1,946.25 of GOP money at Voyeur West Hollywood in addition to considering buying a private jet.
THE POLITICO joined in on the reporting confirming that the funds were spent on February 4.
