Charlamagne Tha God is officially back now that former Philly shock jock has found a new radio station home.

As previously reported, Charlamagne lost his position at Philadelphia’s 100.3 Tha Beat after the station reportedly wanted to “change its format” just days after he gave a pivotal interview with Beanie Sigel airing out his grievances with Jay-Z.

The former co-host of the Wendy Williams Show has moved past his unceremonious let-go and returned to where his career first began; Charleston, South Carolina.

Charlamagne has been tapped to be one of the new on-air personalities at South Carolina’s 92.5 The Box [WIHB-FM.]

Tha God will start his new duties at The Box on May 8, 2010 when listeners can tune into his “Concrete Jungle” Saturday afternoon from 2-6 p.m.

On Sundays starting May 9, fans will find Charlamagne showcasing international talent through his “Next In Line” show which will air from 7-9 p.m. The show will highlight new artists and established artists often overlooked by mainstream.

In addition to radio, Tha God has been known to tap into the world of comedy alongside Grand Hustle comedian Lil Duval. The duo’s Hood State Of the Union web series has spurned into a new website, TheHoodStateOfTheUnion.com. The site will feature their comedic antics as well as new and original sketch comedy features.

TheHoodStateoftheUnion.com is set to launch Wednesday, May 12.
