The news of Tyga’s abrupt departure from the upcoming Under The Influence of Music Tour was broke by headliner Wiz Khalifa himself, but the “We Dem Boyz” artist didn’t get the word first hand.

In a recent interview with Philly’s Power99, Young Khalifa vented his frustration with his rapping pal’s decision to pull out like 9 months wasn’t an option.

“He didn’t tell me at all,” Wiz revealed. “His people was just like, ‘nah we ain’t gonna do it.'”

Shortly after Wiz let the fans know that the tour would be Tyga-less, the Young Money star dug deeper with the explanation saying, “Sorry ya’ll.—–sorry to all the fans. I’ll c y’all next time. I wanted to be apart of tour. But I’m finishin. Up my album and filming a movie.” Regardless, Wiz thinks the way it was gone about was very disappointing.

“I just felt like that was corny; we’re better than that and I’m sure he’ll probably hear interviews where I said that it was ‘wack,’ and stuff like that,” Wiz continues. “I’m the type of person…he know’s what it is with me. We cool and that’s the homie and that was just a wack move but we cool.”

Wiz Khalifa will be reprising his role as Devin Overstreet next winter in the sequel to Mac & Devin Go to High School and his fifth studio album Blacc Hollywood is also locked and loaded for a mid-August release. The excuses Tyga threw out were a bit watered down in Wiz’s eyes.

The Under The Influence of Music Tour still features a very appreciative Rich Homie Quan, as well as Jeezy, Mack Wilds, Ty Dolla $ign, Sage the Gemini, IAMSU and DJ Drama.
