Taking Yelawolf’s recent wardrobe choices and swanky country tunes into consideration, it is a good indicator on the direction his long-delayed sophomore studio album in Love Story is headed.
The latest single “Till It’s Gone” premiered on the latest episode of Sons of Anarchy and its ruminative acoustic guitar licks and rock ‘n roll-ish cadence is a perfect soundtrack for the acclaimed biker show.
Not to say it’s a total abandonment of his Hip-Hop presence; Wolf still freaks his flow with the best of the tongue twisters in the game. But he’s traveling a new dirt road for the time being. Although there is no word when Love Story will officially be released, if he keeps connected with the Sons of Anarchy demographic, the demand for the LP should shoot up like the FX series’ ratings.
