The murder of Baylor University basketball player Patrick Dennehy by his teammate Carlton Dotson was one of that 2003’s more tragic stories.
Tiger Woods hasn’t been the same since he was linked with 12 different mistresses in 2009. He reportedly smashed and bribed mistresses, escorts, trailer park waitresses and models.
If the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit. O.J. Simpson was acquitted in the criminal trial against his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, which was dubbed the “Trial of the Century.” Simpson still ended up in prison after a kidnapping and armed robbery conviction in 2008.

Tim Donaghy took foul to a new level by fixing the games he called as an NBA referee. He ended up serving a 15-month prison sentence before emerging and writing a book to tell how he did his dirt.

The The Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative was arguably moving more dope than Freeway Ricky Ross. According to federal documents, the list of BALCO clients included MLB MVP Barry Bonds and Olympic runner Marion Jones.
There was a ton of blame to go around when Ray Rice coldcoked his wife Janay inside of an Atlantic City elevator in January of 2014. After the full video went public, the NFL doubled down and suspended Rice for the entire 2014 season.
