Feeling that the fans are being very unappreciative of music these days, The-Dream is bring his four-year career, as a solo artist, to a screeching halt.

Marking his upcoming album, Love King, as being better than the last two releases from the singer, he also marks the next project as his last before he retires and bows out.

Speaking on recent music leaks and his cover of Aaliyah, the singer spoke with Ms. Drama TV on his next move after the album drops.

“Nobody appreciates music so I’m out. I’m out. I’m good, so take that. Like Jay said, maybe y’all will remember me when I fade to black. So it’s out.”

The validity of his retirement, however, is one that will have be actually be seen and just not spoken of. There had been speculation of a fourth album, Love/Affair, that could follow as his fourth solo project.  In regards to the rumors, the singer stated that he would use that music as a soundtrack if he could create a movie in the same vein as Purple Rain.

Only time will tell if The-Dream changes his tune or not.
