Usher and Honey Nut Cheerios’ Buzz are taking their bromance to the next level by releasing an exclusive bonus track through the side of a cereal box carried in select Walmart retailers.
The semi-chopped-and-screwed syrupy jam isn’t exactly rated G for General Mills or the kiddies, but it does feature and apologetic Usher crooning in an accessible falsetto melody. According to MTV, the record will not appear on the Grammy Award-winning singer’s much-delayed album UR, but the digital download should still be able to hold fans off until he’s finally ready to release it sometime next year.
“Clueless” is a clear sign of the technological times. As kids grab their devices to snag a song off the side of a cereal box, their parents will be relaying tales how they got into trouble for dumping all the food out to get a toy at the bottom of the bag.
