Former NBA star and college basketball analyst Greg Anthony was busted on January 16 for soliciting a prostitute in Washington, D.C. Instead of getting the book thrown at him, he and his legal counsel have reached a deferred prosecution agreement, where Anthony only has to complete 32 hours of community service and his nose (among other body parts) clean.

ESPN is reporting that Anthony, 47, spoke on his own behalf when he acknowledged his intent to enter and understand the agreement.

Court documents detailed the incident in full, alleging Anthony responded to an undercover officer disguised as an escort on the classifieds website Backpage.com. Anthony then met the undercover officer at his hotel room and agreed to pay $80 for the poohnanny, according to the document. It is also said the undercover authority asked “you want me to dress up,” to which an eager Anthony responded “oh yeah.”

After the story spread like wildfire, he was suspended by CBS and Turner Sports and issued out an apology to his wife and four kids, family and colleagues. He called his actions a “lapse of judgment.”

Both Anthony and his attorney, Danny Onorato, declined to comment after the hearing ended.

No word as of yet when Turner Sports will welcome Anthony back into the fold, either.
