The Takers
Life comes at you fast. And not even Vuyo Mvoko, a well-known South African reporter for national outlet SABC, is exempt. He was mugged while on camera.
U.O.E.N.O.
Rapper/label owner Rocko didn’t see any consequence to drag racing a friend in his Rolls Royce. We guess he forgot his license was suspended.
Milky Way
New York Daily News reported on a El Salvadorian man who got pinched at New York City’s JFK airport carrying 32 heroin packets inside of a powdered milk box. At the root of it, this sounds like a bad decision, but then again, I’m no expert on drug trafficking.
Life Moves In Cycles
Complex said it best: After doing serious time for holding up a Stride Rite sneaker store in New Jersey back in 1999, Christopher Miller decided to go back to the same exact store—just one day after his release—to rob it again.
C’mon, son.
Come To Blows
No one should be fighting at 53-years-old, including singer Angie Stone.
Spiteful Chants
Ok, so this wasn’t a crime per se. University of Oklahoma’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) arrogantly thought they could chant racist comments, as if that’s an admirable act of camaraderie. Our response: Ha! The school’s response: expulsion.
Public Pooper
An Akron, Oh. guy who’s taken number twos in the open a whopping 19 times.
High Times
Marijuana has yet to be legalized in NYC, but karma hit this 17-year-old teen like a ton of bricks when she was reportedly became partially paralyzed after eating a weed brownie.
My Wife Is A Cheater
William Lindauer was arrested after allegedly burning his ex-wife’s home down and spray painted “My Wife Is A Cheater” on the wall.
Ashes To Ashes, Dust To Dust
The victim of a burglary says her father’s ashes were stolen and that two relatives and a third man are to blame after they thought they were stealing cocaine.
“I just couldn’t believe that they would take the ashes,” said Debora Matthews, the victim of the robbery. “But you know, they were kids and I guess just stupid.”
Matthews says Devin Gesell and two minors rummaged through her home in St. Peters, stealing several items in addition to the ashes. She also says she believes the minors are two of her father’s grandchildren.
“I’m very upset because of the minors. I mean [they] were his grandsons,” Matthews said. “They did that to their grandfather.
They didn’t even realize it was their grandfather’s ashes.”
She says the three thought the ashes stored in a container was cocaine, but after they tasted it, they realized what they had really stolen.
However, instead of bring it back, they scattered the ashes all over the highway as they fled.
St. Peter’s police arrested Gesell and the minors.
Gesell is now facing possible burglary and theft charges.
