Most Spring releases like to make a play on the bright and vibrant colors that coincide with the enjoyable season. For their Spring ’15 Drop 2 dubbed the “Most Kings Get Their Heads Cut Off” Collection, DOPE had the audacity to seal their freshness in black and white graphics and silhouettes. But fashion is all about setting trends; not following so the going against the grain isn’t all that surprising from the blossoming clothing line. It’s to be expected.
Inspired by 90s Hip-Hop, fine art, cult films, and medieval nobility (the latter being an interesting template), the “Most Kings Get Their Heads Cut Off” Collection, fresh, raw and familiar as it introduces new silhouettes like the lightweight knit drug rug to new pieces such as their baseball jersey and short sleeve hooded pullover.
