West Coast rapper and occasional troublemaker The Game is now facing arrest over the sucker punch he threw against a cop back in March. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has issued a warrant for Game’s arrest for what they say is a felony threat.

TMZ got the scoop on the story involving The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, and the arrest warrant that was issued earlier this week. As we reported back in March, Game was in an indoors basketball game where he decked the off-duty cop and allegedly threatened to kill the man.

TMZ has more:

Game and the cop got into it back in March while they were playing in a league hoops game. Even though you can clearly see Game punch the guy in the video we obtained … he was NOT charged with battery.

Our law enforcement sources point out the punch would have just been a misdemeanor — as opposed to the felony for threats.

Game denies making the threat and claims the cop insinuated he had a gun in his gym bag.

This isn’t the first time Game has adminstered a vicious fade, and there have been past reports that he has a bit of a temper. Adding to the struggle, the cop Game socked is claiming his brain was damaged in a lawsuit.
