Outside of Suge Knight and Jerry Heller, everybody has appeared to be satisfied with the way the upcoming Straight Outta Compton biopic is being developed.

And then, The Villain happened.

Original N.W.A member MC Ren went on an explicit Twitter rant earlier (June 10) over what appeared to be over a lack of personal portrayal in the film’s trailers. His likeness, played by Leverage actor Aldis Hodge, is shown in the multiple promo videos for the film, but according to the soon-to-be 46-year-old rap legend, it wasn’t good enough.

“Man f*ck these b*tches at universal pictures leaving me out the movie trailers tryin to rewrite history,” MC Ren complained via his Twitter account.

“When you have b*tches work on a hip hop film that don’t know sh*t about hip hop this is what happens. How the hell u leave me out after all,” MC Ren writes, “The work I put into them records. It’s disrespectful to me, my family and most of all my FANS.”

Somewhere in a lavish office space, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube are probably shaking their heads to the tune of “we don’t need this right now.”

The disparaging remarks may have come at a bad time as well. The final Straight Outta Compton has just been released and the movie is still be released on August 14.
