Since basically getting a do-over after being convicted of assaulting his girlfriend, Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy got his suspension reduced from 10 games to four games. It helped that said significant other refused to cooperate the second time around.
Reports TMZ:
Allegedly beating up your girlfriend nets you the same suspension as allegedly deflating footballs … that’s the message the NFL is sending after they reduced the suspension of Dallas Cowboy Greg Hardy to just four games.
Hardy was initially suspended for 10 games back in April, after the league concluded Hardy attacked his girlfriend, Nicole Holder.
Hardy was convicted of assault, but appealed the decision … which led to a new trial. Holder refused to cooperate in the re-trial and the charges were dropped.
