Tommy: The REAL Ghost

Yeah, I said it! Tommy is an impulsive dude who spends more time partaking in coke parties that would make the 86 Mets blush, but he knows how to efficiently run a drug operation. Ghost gives him more authority to run the business and his narcotic wisdom flourishes in the process. He knows not to go to war with the Serbs and instead cut off their drug supply thus making them a willing partner with minimal bloodshed. He moves the drug money to secure locations after a hunch that the feds were watching. He makes the connections to Ruiz and the other members of the cartel and gains their respect. Since episode 1, Tommy kept the drug business in focus while seeing Truth and Ghost’s nightclub as nothing more than a money laundering front. You can tell that Tommy lives for the fast life and will stop at nothing to succeed.

Tommy’s only misstep was bringing Holly into the fold (and trusting Kanan but we’ll get to that later). He fell in love and wanted to keep it real with his main chick, so he informed her on all of his drug moves. Hey, players mess up too sometimes. The love between Holly and Tommy remained strong through the last few episodes. Holly wanted nothing more than to see her and Tommy prosper at any cost. She was willing to give up Ghost in order for them to live free. She knew Tommy well enough to chain him to a bed when she told him about Angela and the possible deal in place. She knew he would choose Ghost over her, and opted to leave, while still protecting him.
