Kanan vs. Everyone

We saw glimpses of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s character Kanan in season 1, but season 2 gave him new opportunities to shine. Kanan, fresh from a 10 year bid, readied himself to reclaim his once lost drug mantel. He hired the season 1 hit on the entire drug operation (including Ghost) and looked to close on his quest for the throne. He killed “pink sneakers” with the assistance of his new soldier Dre. He killed Q-Dubs and positioned himself to take over the RSK territory with Ghost and Tommy’s blessing. He leads by example and fear, as Dre soon found out when one of his boys got on Kanan’s bad side. We discover that Ghost and Tasha set Kanan up to get arrested and they suspect that he knows and wants revenge. I have to admit: It’s hard to hate Kanan when the dudes he brought up betrayed him. We know that when Kanan is on screen, something is going down! He hasn’t been around for the last few episodes, but as we saw from the previews for this week, he’s done a lot more than just “stay low and build”
