Ghost vs. Tasha: “Why Her?!”
The season opened up with Tasha revealing to Ghost that she knows about the affair with Angela and wants it to end. Throughout much of season 1, Ghost lived a dual life romantically, craving that old High School loving while maintaining his home. Now that his affair is out in the open, Ghost had two choices: get right or get left. You can only guess what he chose to do. Not only did he keep the affair going, he doubled down by taking Angela to Miami!
Tasha prepared herself for this situation and has taken every precaution to protect herself and show Ghost that he should have never stepped out on her. She opened a separate bank account in her name only, changed the lock code in their penthouse so that Ghost could no longer enter without her permission, and toyed with Shawn, making him both her willing lover and informant against Ghost! A fender bender causes Ghost to admit to Tasha that Angela is a federal lawyer looking to put his operation out of business Tasha realizes that if Ghost goes to jail her kids and her livelihood will be no more, so she persuades Ghost to keep sleeping with Angela in order to“keep their enemies close”. Let’s not also forget that Tasha is the best wing woman ever (see episode 7 for more)!
