Bobbi Kristina has been mourned over and buried since the top of month but her poor soul still isn’t getting any rest. Her boyfriend and alleged reason for her death, Nick Gordon, is reportedly making arrangements to honor Whitney Houston’s daughter in his own way since he was shut out at her funeral.
Entertainment Tonight got wind of a since-deleted Facebook comment made by Gordon in a post made by Mason Whitaker, a friend of Gordon and Brown, which indicated that another memorial is on the horizon.
“We will have our own service remembering and honoring Krissi. Only the real family that actually was there for her will attend,” Gordon wrote. The comment was an obvious diss towards Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, as the two acted like bitter enemies for the duration of their mutual love’s six-month coma.
Gordon, 25, has bigger fish to fry, however. Over the weekend, the estate of Bobbi Kristina Brown has filed a multimillion-dollar wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon, claiming he not only drugged her on January 31, but he put her face down in the bathtub she was found unresponsive in.
If the claim sounds far-fetched to you, Gordon isn’t taking any chances. He’s hired Casey Anthony’s former legal team to get him in the clear.
“Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it’s shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly,” Joe Habachy and Jose Baez said in a statement. “Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most.”
