Earlier in the year, Raury was easily one of our top artists put on the next-to-blow list when we peeped a few of his shows at SXSW. Fast forward nearly a half a year later, and the multi-talented Atlanta musician’s name is everywhere it needs to be, including iTunes with the release of his studio debut album, All We Need.

At just 19-year-old, the eclectic social-conscious thinker is too skilled to be pigeonholed as a rapper but not too proud to claim Hip-Hop. By combining his street sensibilities with sounds from folk, pop and good ‘ol fashioned, rock ‘n roll, All We Need is a must-have in any music collection, especially if the listener is looking to be entertained outside of the cultural norm. Early standouts include “Woodcrest Manor II,” “Forbidden Knowledge” (featuring Big K.R.I.T.) and the ruminative “Devil’s Whisper.”
