Billboard’s Twitter account recently posted a photo of North West along with mama Kim K. The caption read: “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” The kicker? It showed North West about to lick what may or may not be lollipop. Not a good look when you put the two together.
The tweet in question was taken down hours later and replaced with a more clearly stated caption that meant to suggest North West is “already taking control of her image.” Much like her parents, papa Kanye in particular, North West was caught shooing away paparazzi. “I said no pictures,” North said in her adorable, two-year-old voice.
Billboard has since apologized for the misleading tweet with another:
