Victor Cruz is done for the season without playing a single down. The New York Giants wide receiver announced today that he will have season-ending surgery on his bothersome left calf.
Reports NBC Sports:
“I just got news that I will be having season-ending surgery on my left calf,” Cruz said in a video. “This hurts because I worked so hard to come back from the patellar tendon surgery.”
Cruz hasn’t played at all this season because of the calf injury. He missed the last 10 games of last season with a knee injury.
“I felt like I was back to 100 percent, and then the calf happens. It’s a tough thing to go through emotionally, physically,” Cruz said.
Best of luck to Victor Cruz. So far this season, besides his injury, he got more news for his fiancee blowing up the spot on his plethora of side chicks, and his Nike signature sneakers.
Needless to say, some Giants fans are losing their sh*t. Check out reactions on the flip.
