As the French vows to show ISIS “no mercy” following the attacks on their own soil that left 129 people dead, the world is being introduced to a rather unlikely ally in the war against the Islamic State regime.
Much like they did with the KKK, a sect of the hacker intelligence society Anonymous is stepping up to the plate and promising to deliver big results.
“Make no mistake: Anonymous is at war with Daesh,” the enigmatic hacker group wrote on Twitter on Sunday, November 15.
To accompany the announcement, a three-minute video with the hashtag #OpParis where a man fitted with a Guy Fawkes mask said, “We will not give up, we do not forgive. Expect us,” which was translated from French.
As of today, November 16, officials have identified the Belgian citizen, Abdelhamid Abaaoud as the mastermind behind the attacks and a worldwide manhunt has commenced.
