Understanding one’s spouse is vital requirement when entering a marriage union and Australian copywriter Michael Dawson seems to have that down pat, even if it comes at the expense of political correctness.

The Sydney native got hitched this past May and he knew very well his wife, Jessica was a A$AP Ferg stan on 100. When the Trap Lord rapper was Down Under in his neck of the woods for a show, Dawson reached out for a video tribute to be played at their union and Ferg obliged and kept it purely A$AP.

“He was performing in Sydney [at The Hi-Fi, back in May] and I just got in touch with his people to make the request, then they came back and said ‘We’ll arrange for you to put the idea to him and he may say no’,” Dawson recalled to Pedestrian.TV. “He put on a meet-and-greet where people got photos, and the tour manager arranged for me to hang back to ask, then he introduced us and I gave him my spiel. I was so surprised when he said ‘Yeah sure’, he was actually super down with it.”

The video’s opening montage featured a mix of Ferg’s most viral music videos when the scene shifted to Dawson and Ferg backstage when the moment of truth happened.

“We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Michael and Jessica,” he said with a grin. “If anyone sees the reason why these two should not be married, then shut the f*ck up and f*ck you,” he exclaimed raising both middle fingers.

While Jessica, the groomsmen and the bridesmaids got a serious kick out of the clip, it unsurprisingly was a tough pill to swallow for some of the other wedding guests.

“She was over the moon, she literally couldn’t believe it,” Dawson laughed off. “The language raised a few eyebrows among the older family members who had no idea who he was but amongst our friends it was pretty huge.”

Kendrick Lamar may crash weddings but A$AP Ferg blesses them. Why do you think they call him the Hood Pope? Watch the comedy down below.
