A rapper withdrawing $200,000 from his own bank account has to be up to no good, right? That’s the logic of Atlanta cops who detained Blac Youngsta for basically trying to buy a car with cash.

Reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

A rapper who goes by the name Blac Youngsta is claiming the staff of an Atlanta bank called police on him Friday after he withdrew $200,000 from his own account.

“I come out the bank, I see the police, I’m walking to my car, I see one of them point to my bag like ‘him,’” the rapper, whose birth name is Sam Benson, told WXIA-TV. “They come bumrushing me at the car, put me on the ground.”

The incident happened at the Wells Fargo bank at 3235 Peachtree Road NE in Buckhead. The rapper posted a photo of himself being handcuffed outside the bank on his Facebook page.

Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. Warren Pickard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that officers responded to the bank “at the request of the bank manager” before finding “that no crime had been committed.” He deferred further inquiries to Wells Fargo.

Right, blame the bank…

Blac Youngsta is a Tennessee native and is affiliated with Yo Gotti. He told cops he withdrew the money to pay for a Mercedes-Benz.

Who knew you could rob a bank by providing them with your account number. #sarcasm
