Music fans got a scare today when word got out that Prince was rushed to the hospital after his plane made an emergency landing. Per one of his reps, the Purple One has been suffering from the flu but has already returned home after being released from the hospital.
According to TMZ, Prince was rushed to the hospital Friday morning (April 15). Hours earlier on Thursday night, he had performed at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
According to his rep, he had been battling the flu for a fews week but didn’t want to cancel yet another show. Unfortunately, he felt considerably more ill after the show, leading to an emergency landing in Moline, Ill., where he was then transferred by ambulance to a local hospital.
