Even though it grossed just under a billion dollars thanks to mixed reviews and fanfare, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice was considered both a critical and commercial failure.

One of the bright spots of the film—to the surprise of many—was Ben Affleck’s portrayal of the Dark Knight and yesterday the man whose shoulders are to carry the Batman franchise for the foreseeable future unveiled the logo for the upcoming Justice League film. He also shared a shot of the new Batmobile that will patrol the streets of Gotham in said flick, and the movie’s synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.  Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.  But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is already in production with a release date of November 17, 2017. While it’s director and producers are building this to be a game changing feature, fans are just hoping that the producers will right all the wrongs that made Dawn Of Justice lackluster.
