Joey Bada$$’s been a dope lyricist since coming into the game. Even though he expanded his sound to include a more melodic tone for his latest cut, it doesn’t take away from his lyrical prowess.
In the Friday Night Light’s themed visuals to “Devastated” the Brooklyn MC holds a homecoming of sorts on a football field where he and his peoples enjoy a celebration along with fans and a bevy of young ladies that could easily be considered homecoming queens.
On another side of town Hip-Hop OG’s Sadat X, R.A. The Rugged Man, and Thirstin Howl III get together in front of Sean Price’s mural to give everyone a taste of old school New York and old school Hip-Hop in the clip to “Industry Outcasts.”
