Nelly has joined FS1 as a sports contributing sports analyst on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.

Nelly will get to add a new notch to his belt this year. It has been announced that the St. Louis rapper is joining the cast of Undisputed as a sports analyst. Now, before you start thinking that this was just some industry move, please know that Nelly has a history with co-host Skip Bayless. Nelly was the first rapper to ever appear on his old ESPN show First Take.

“I can’t wait to reunite with my man Nelly,” said Bayless via press release. “Seven years ago he was the first rapper we ever had on my former debate show, and he was a revelation. He can debate sports with the same passion, guts and clever creativity that he writes and performs his classic music. He and I share this: we think we’ve never lost a debate. Nelly was made for Undisputed.”

Nelly is no stranger to the sports world. Before his rap career took off he was a highly-decorated baseball player who was a Major League prospect at one time. He is also a co-owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets.

This will be Nelly’s third show on television right now. He is already the star of Nellyville and a The Real Husbands Of Hollywood on BET.

Skip and Shannon: Undisputed airs weekday mornings at 9:30am EST on FS1
