The NBA is back in full swing much to the joy of basketball fans the world over, and the Philadelphia 76ers are projected to do a bit better this year as the team is loaded with young talent. However, Philly sports fans are a special breed and one extremely turnt old white guy got himself kicked out the game firing off the double bird to Russell Westbrook.

The visiting Oklahoma City Thunder were in the City of Brotherly Love at Wells Fargo Center as both teams opened up their season Wednesday (Oct. 26) night. The new-look Thunder, without its star anchor Kevin Durant, is truly now Westbrook’s squad and the high-energy guard came ready to play. With 4:52 left to go in the first quarter with the Sixers up 18 to 7, Westbrook made one of his typical strong drives to the hoop and was fouled while in motion and getting an “and one” to boot.

This prompting the super fan to get into his bag and flipped off Westbrook while dropping the F-bomb but the all-star player’s reaction really took things over the top. Westbrook actually had a look of feigned shock on his face while he pointed towards the fan. The unidentified gentleman was immediately booted from his seat and the Sixers went on the lose the contest 103-97.

Reaction from the event was swift on Twitter last night and still ongoing. We’ve collected some of the chatter below and on the following pages, including the video in question. Props to ESPN for the clear and edited clip. Hit the flip to see the unedited version and Westbrook’s fantastic reaction.
